Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our project estimates are very competitive with the regions industry leaders. Our business model worls because we have very low overhead costs, enabling us to pass those savings on to the customer. We also have long standing relationships with our material suppliers to get the best pricing, saving you money while still getting the highest quality end result.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1st step is contact and set up a time to come out to your home and meet with you, listen to your needs and expectations. then we look over the work needed, while also anticipating any hidden or unknown issues that could arise during the project.( no one likes unexpected costs half way through a project). Then an estimate for the work needed is drawn up. And when hired we set a start date that fits with both of our schedules. Finally start the project! proceeding to provide the best service and end result within your budget.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
All of our employees are trained by professional journeymen. I have over 20 years experience Installing roofing, windows, and siding on residential homes and light commercial complexes. every person on our crew has atleast 10 years experience in the trades, and at least one owner is on every jobsite working side by side with our excellent, detail oriented crews.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Allphase Residential Construction is a family owned and operated business. with 3 generations in the residential construction trades. Making your home last the test of time and stay beautiful is our passion.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
anyone who needs work done to the exterior of their home.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
we recently finished a beautiful apartment complex roof, 4 buildings in all with 14+ units. our crew was able to safely work around the tenants while still staying efficient in regards to time and quality of the completed job. start to finish the our crew removed 2 layers of worn shingles, replaced many sheets of rotten underlayment, added more venting to help the attic "breath" and bring it up to code. we put down a beautiful lifetime "Pabco" brand architectural shingle all in 7 days time. Our quote was substantially lower than the other bids all while using better products and producing a better roof system. in the end the owners of the complex were very happy they had saved money and received a premium roof system that will withstand the harsh east county wind and weather.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Again, ensure the contractor is licensed, bonded, and insured. also look at their online reviews from sites like Google, yelp and of course here on thumbtack. That will give the consumer a good idea of the professionalism of the company.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
is the contractor I'm considering licensed, bonded and insured? Are they punctual? Do they communicate well about realistic project timelines and prices. do they understand what your expectations are for a positive end result. Also is their estimate precise, clearly written and easy to understand so that there are no misunderstandings?
